Syllabus
When entering the classroom…
Students will wait in the hallway until their teacher allows them to enter with a fist pump, elbow bump, or foot shake. Students will enter quietly into our classroom, go to their desks, and complete bell ringer. If finished with our bell ringer, students will read their books or may choose one from my shelf.
In the classroom….
Students will raise their hands for permission to speak or get up. Students are expected to have their devices (including cell phones, headphones, and other personal devices) inside their backpacks. If in violation of this, devices will be confiscated for three days in the office or if a fee of $15 is paid by a parent or guardian.
Restrooms…
Students must sign out using e-hall pass. Student only has three passes a day. This includes going to the nurse, counselor, etc. If it says the restroom is full, the student must wait until inside the classroom until it is their turn. Students may not leave the classroom the first or last five minutes of class.

Classroom Procedures
1. Assignments will be given daily.
2. Tests, essays, and quizzes will be given periodically.
Late Assignment Policy
If the student does not turn in an assignment on time, then he/she is given three school days after the assignment’s due date to complete it. Each day the assignment is late, ten points will be deducted from the earned grade. Corrections Policy If a student received a failing test grade, then he/she will be allowed to correct the assignment up to a 70. Students must staple the corrections to the original assignment.
