Spring Trip 2027
We're headed back to Orlando next year! More specific information will come, but we will spend 2 days at Disney parks (Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios) and 2 days at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Flights, lodging, meals, everything is included. Get deposits in by June 5th and enroll in a payment plan. Total cost estimated $1960. Out of state trips limited to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors (during 26-27 school year). Sorry incoming Freshmen, it's not personal. Click HERE to register.

Mykel Martin is the Director of Orchestras at Central High School, specializing in low strings. Originally a guitarist from Junction, Texas, Martin currently plays guitar with rising star Texas Country artist Case Hardin, is the music director at New Hope Bible Church and Grace Christian Church in San Angelo, and also teaches private lessons at Emmanuel School of Fine Arts. He has been at Central since 2018, serving as Assistant Director of Orchestras until 2023, when he took over as Director. He holds a Bachelor of Music with Strings Concentration from Angelo State University and a Master of Music Education in Strings from Texas Tech University.

Carlos Demitri Carrillo III was born and raised in San Angelo, Texas. A proud graduate of Lake View High School, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Music degree from Angelo State University in 2020. During his time at ASU, Carlos was an active member of both the ASU Symphony and Choir, performing in various cities including Del Rio and Fredericksburg. His musical journey extended beyond Texas, as he also performed with Opera Maya, showcasing his talent at venues along Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. Currently, Carlos serves as the Assistant Orchestra Director at Central High School, where he continues to inspire the next generation of musicians. He is also an active member of the FMC Choir, contributing his voice and passion to the local music community.
