Gymnastics is a physical activity with basic gymnastics as the active content. The content includes walking, running, jumping, rolling and supporting. The influence of gymnastics on children is mainly reflected in the aspects of sensory, emotional, mental and physical development.Â
Among them, the sensory functions can be roughly divided into touch, proprioception and vestibular sense. The components of physical fitness mainly include strength, flexibility, agility, balance and coordination. Gymnastics is the foundation of all sports. The most basic athletic abilities of the human body: strength, agility, balance, flexibility, etc., can be exercised and activated through gymnastics.
As for the higher-difficulty movements such as handstands, somersaults, aerial turns, etc: it depends on the child's physical training needs, the movements the child does, and the difficulty of the challenge. Parents don't have to worry about any movement or difficult projects. It is a step-by-step, superimposed from easy to difficult, scientific and reasonable training that provides a strong guarantee for the safety of children.
Improve children's limb flexibility.
Develop the brain and accelerate intellectual development: Through physical training for children, the nervous system and the brain are continuously stimulated. The activity of the cerebral cortex is increased, the frequency of brain activity is increased, and the brain is more developed.
The exercise of different running and jumping techniques makes the angle of movement of the lower limb joints more reasonable (in outdoor walks, active games and free activities in kindergartens, the range of motion of joints and the amount of physical activity are not large enough).
The gymnastics training brings moderate stimulation to the child's body, activates the whole body's tissues and nervous system, and makes it perfect earlier
Significant improvement in lower body strength.
Improve movement reaction speed and physical flexibility and agility.
It's a group course. Children gain joy in group activities, so as to develop a cheerful and make friends.
Helps boost immunity. And let your child have a more perfect BMI value. Exercise will consume excess fat, avoid fat accumulation, gain ideal weight, and thus have a more perfect BMI value.
Greatly improve the reaction speed of children's nervous system.
Improve balance and agility.
Improve the sensitivity of proprioception and vestibular sense.
The integrated processing ability of balance.
Regardless of your child's ability or experience, all of the Lions Gymnastic Academy classes are taught in an athlete-centred, progressive manner. Because the learning process is equally as important as the learning outcome, students are grouped according to age, physical ability and potential to maximize their experience. Ultimately, gymnastics team placements are handled by the coaches. If, during registration, a participant isn't in the correct team, the Gymnastics Coaches will communicate with parents to reassign.
Classes are designed for children in Grades 1-5. Children are grouped by age and ability. We ensure that our gymnasts are learning the proper techniques to make gymnastics fun and safe. Training is always purposeful and incorporates circuits to ensure that the children are constantly active and engaged.Â
