Co-curricular student groups at SUA are clustered into three main categories:
Clubs and Organizations: The purpose of these groups is for students to explore common interests and passions in order to connect students with shared interests and creating opportunities to develop that interest. Clubs and organizations are a great way to meet people who might not be in your classes, but who share an interest with you. Clubs and organizations typically meet during lunch.
Community Service Groups: We hope all SUA students get involved in community service! To make it easier to get involved, we have a number of community service groups from which to choose. These groups coordinate student volunteerism during school, after school, and out of school.
Honor Societies: These groups are open only to students who achieve very specific criteria in academic excellence in the respective discipline. Students are invited to participate when they meet the eligibility criteria. Continued involvement in the group is contingent upon continued academic excellence.
