NEW CHANGES: FHSAA REQUIRED Forms for the 2026-2027 School Year
Parents,
SSES employs three full-time certified strength and conditioning coaches for our student-athletes. The strength and conditioning program has three major goals:
Reducing athletic injuries
Improving athletic performance
Teaching lifelong fitness and movement skills
Coach Erik Schulz and Coach Bobby Harrison design training programs according to sound scientific principles, taking into account the student-athlete as a whole. Therefore, the incidence and severity of sports-related injuries are minimized or offset and student-athletes who invest time into strength and conditioning will improve their athletic performance by moving more efficiently, developing more power, strength, speed, and agility. They will have increased confidence and physical literacy that they will carry with them for their lifetime.
Due to time and space limitations, the summer strength and conditioning is set up only for varsity student-athletes (this DOES include middle school student-athletes who will be participating on a varsity team).
To be eligible for any form of athletic activity at SSES please refer to the required paperwork section of the site for requirements.
PLEASE BRING TO EVERY TRAINING:
Appropriate footwear
Water bottle with water
Please reach out to Coach Erik Schulz (eschulz@saintstephens.org) for any questions you may have.
