2026 Summer Camp Information CAMP PARSONS 7/12/26 to 7/18/26 near Brinnon, WA.
SCOUTS: $565 cost if paid by 3/16/26. $580 cost after 3/16.
$50 is NON REFUNDABLE. $515 is REFUNDABLE before JUNE 15th. After June 15th, all monies paid are NON REFUNDABLE.
FINAL PAYMENT DUE TO TROOP BY MAY 11th.
ADULTS: $315 cost
Submit payments to Matt Carlin or Troop Treasurer on February 16th or after that date.
The Troop committee will allow for 8 Adults (SM plus 7 additional adults) in Boy Troop 299B to attend gratuitously. Girl Troop will have for 4 Adults (SM plus 3 additional adults) allowed to attend gratuitously. See the Scoutmaster to request adult attendance.
THE TROOPS HAVE RESERVED SPOTS FOR 55 SCOUTS AND 16 ADULTS FOR OUR ATTENDANCE. CONTACT MATT CARLIN FOR FURTHER DETAILS. CHRISTINE CHANSLEY IS MANAGING THE ACCOUNTS WITH CAMP PARSONS.
CAMPERSHIP: The Committee has dedicated some monies to support campers with financial needs. Maximim amount considered by the Troop Committee is half of the camp tuition. Link to the form:

Troops meet at 10AM, Sunday 7/12 at the Parish Center Parking Lot for check-in to depart for camp.
Plan to bring a sack lunch on Sunday, 7/12.
Troops plan to depart Meriwether approximately 9:00AM on Saturday 7/18 for return home. Parent Drivers should plan to arrive at Camp Parsons by 8:15AM. ETA Tacoma Parish Center on 7/18 is approximately 11:00AM.
Other NOTES:
+ FOOD: If your Scout has food allergies, please advise Christine Chansley before May 31.
+ It is recommened that each Scout bring a print-out of the weekly schedule and trail map with them in their day pack.
+ For an emergency, recommend contacting the Scoutmaster. Adult mobile phone numbers are provided elsewhere.
+ There is only 1 or 2 power outlets available in each Camp. Scouts bringing mobile phones or electronic devices do so at their own risk and will have minimal access to the power outlet in camp. Phones are NOT allowed to serve as a distraction to others. Mobile Phone reception is relatively poor in the vicinity of the camp. WIFI is not available to Scouts in Camp.
+ All shoes worn in camp should be closed-toed (except shower shoes). Wear sturdy shoes to camp (CROCS are NOT recommended). Attendees will likely walk 3 miles or more each day.
+ For scouts taking Swimming or Lifesaving Merit Badges- or merit badges on the waterfront, it is recommended to bring two swimsuits.
+ Any Lottery Merit Badge Classes will be drawn/announced on Sunday afternoon 7/12.

UPS and FedEx are preferred; as USPS mail sometimes gets delayed. Recommend mailing no later than Monday 7/14/26 to ensure that it can be received by Friday.
