Welcome back to another fantastic school year! I am so excited for my 12th year at SPS and my 22st year teaching.

A little background about myself: I'm originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I attended Catholic school from Kindergarten through high school at Mount Carmel Academy in New Orleans (Go Cubs!). I then traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama where I graduated from the University of Alabama with my B.S. in Secondary Education. I returned to New Orleans to teach middle school math and social studies and earn my Masters of Education Degree in Educational Administration from the University of New Orleans. I went on to teach high school social studies - AP US History, AP Human Geography and US History. About 14 years ago, our family moved to Pennsylvania (with a short stop in New Jersey) for my husband's job. We now call PA home.

I have three wonderful kids - John (10th Grade Bishop Shanahan), Joey (9th Grade Malvern Prep, and my daughter Emma (SPS 4th grade). When I'm not at school, I enjoy taking pictures of my kids and the beautiful scenery around the area, running the local trails, and traveling to lots of regional sporting events.
