Welcome to a new school year!  I am so excited to have your children in my second grade class.  This year will be filled with wonderfully new learning opportunities.  We will grow in our faith as we learn about about the sacraments and the many ways in which Jesus is a part of our lives.  Our reading series is both exciting and challenging.  Your children are going to learn new skills while enjoying fiction and non-fiction stories.  Their math skills will surprise and amaze you as they learn many new concepts this year.  We will learn about nature and the world around us as we explore concepts in science and social studies.  And don't forget, this is the year we will learn to write in cursive.  Add the list of specials, (art, music, gym, computer, and library), to our days and you will see just how busy we are!  Remember to check this website often for daily homework and reminders.  Let's make this a year to remember!
