It's important that as we move forward with this new home learning site that you hand in all assignments.

Reading

Read the story "The Sailor" and answer the questions and short answer worksheet in Seesaw. This will be evaluated!

Character traits describe what a character is like/ personality. Character traits (adjectives) are words that help us understand the character through what they say, think and their actions in the story. So through feelings, actions, sayings and thoughts we begin to understand who this character is on the inside.

Character Trait activity- pick a character from one of the stories you read in your anthology reader...ex. Sacagawea from the story "The Lewis and Clark Expedition" and complete the chart in Seesaw.

Grammar

• Helping Verbs -are verbs that come before the main verb and help state when an action happens.

Writing

Religion

Chp. 15 A Gift of Strength - read p. 127 and complete p.128. Then continue reading "Gather and Go Forth" pp.129-130.

Complete the Chp.15 test that you will be evaluated on in Seesaw. This test will be evaluated.

Then looking back on Chp.14 which was about the Sacrament of Reconciliation work on the Religion activity "The Act of Forgiveness" in Seesaw.

Social Studies

Mexico- We'll continue to explore and learn about Mexico ! Please read over the link below on Mexico and watch the 2 Youtube videos on Mexico to learn about their facts and culture. When your finished answer the questions below in SeeSaw. This will be evaluated.

Directions: In Seesaw open up a note by going to the :

2. Click on the green button with the plus sign on it.

3. Then click on note.

4. Write your answers only in complete sentences and then post(green button).

5. Go back again and this time click on the drawing tool and draw the Mexican flag and post.

Science

Important note: If you haven't done so already take the Brain Pop quiz on the Rock Cycle from last week. This will be evaluated and used for your science grade. Make sure you click on graded quiz and fill out the information at the end of the quiz to submit it to my email.

Math

Rm. 5 math students it's important that you watch the Math Antic videos and then go to Seesaw to complete the math activity. I will be checking to see that you completed your math assignments.
