Humanistic Studies(HUST) is a unique major offered only at Saint Mary's College. It is a combination of history, literature, art, philosophy, and religion. Humanistic Studies classes are structured to chronologically study history. We begin with antiquity and move towards modern day. Humanistic Studies students are enroll in two classes per semester for four semester.
Throughout my undergraduate career I have populated a list about the meaning, skills, and impact humanities has. This list is used to further help myself and others understand the diverse meaning of humanities and how it can be applied to our society. I became a HUST major because I anted to tap into my desire to learn and gather as much knowledge as I could.
