Grandparents LOVE to be read to. Your children are used to doing silent, sustained reading. Continue this over the summer. Use the 100 ways to make reading fun. Join multiple summer reading programs and get more bang for your reading buck! Students can log their hours with the FCPL program, our program, and programs from book stores: Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program.
Children model what they see. Here's to a book-filled summer for us all. Thank you for your partnership in your child's education. I am so proud of the readers they are becoming.
Wishing you all the best this summer.
