All students need to read 2 books this summer:
"Freewater", by Amina Luqman-Dawson
"Spying on Spies", by Marissa Moss
Both come highly recommended, with Freewater having won the John Newbery Award. Both titles weave seamlessly into our Social Studies curriculum, and in the case of the first title, Freewater, the Catholic Social Teaching element of Religion!
For each book students are to complete a hand-written two page book report that summarizes the novel. See the directions below!

Use complete sentences and your best handwriting.
Be honest and thoughtful in your answers.
