About The Teacher

Dear First Grade families, 

My name is Ava Burkat, and I am thrilled to be serving as your students' first grade teacher! 

I graduated with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from the Catholic University of America and worked as an Instructional assistant prior to my current position.

This is such an important and exciting year, and one in which I am sure you will see exceptional growth in your students academically, physically and spiritually!
