Homework

Homework for each week will be posted below.   Homework will also be taped into the homework books to the front cover.  

Homework Reminders and Policy

Every School Night:

• An adult should initial the behavior calendar

• An adult should check the child's folder for any important papers

Weeknights: Students should complete all the homework listed on the homework sheet in the homework book.

• Students must complete the assigned Math workbook page.

• Students must complete the assigned Reading workbook page.

• Students must neatly write the assigned words and Math facts in the Homework Copybook with the date at the top.

• Students should work on First in Math.

• Students should read for 15 minutes each night and  an adult should sign the Reading Log, 1 spot means 15 minutes read.

• An adult should sign or initial the homework sheet in the  Homework Book to say the homework is complete.

Important: Homework will be checked each day.  All Homework books must be returned to school each day.  Students who cannot show their complete homework will get a yellow on their calendar.  Make sure your child puts their homework books back in their backpack when they have finished their homework.  At CARES, students must be responsible for putting their homework books back into their back pack.  Please remind students to check that their name is on a book before they put it in their backpack at CARES.
