Deserts

Deserts cover almost all of Egypt, and many of the deserts are filled with Natural Resources including gold, uranium, and phosphate. The Sahara Desert is the largest of them all. The Sahara desert covers most of Egypt and spreads throughout northern Africa. The Great Pyramids of Giza are located in the Sahara desert. The most popular desert in Egypt is the White Desert, it starts at the western parts of the Nile then spreads almost into parts of Libya. 

Rivers

One of the longest rivers in the world is the Nile. The Nile River is the life source for Egypt. Egypt receives only about an inch of rainfall every year. So, without the Nile River, Egypt would be completely a desert. Egypt receives water through the Nile River from as south as Ethiopia. The Nile, flows from south to north and flows into the Mediterranean. Surrounding the Nile is farmland which feeds all of Egypt because it doesn't have suitable farmland.

MOUNTAINS

Egypt is covered in mountains, the largest mountains in Egypt are the Sinai Mountains and Mt. Catherine. Mt. Catherine is 2,642 meters above sea level. The mountain is named after St. Catherine, who was a Christian martyr. They found her remains on the mountain. Today, the mountain is a popular tourist destination in Egypt.

Costal

The main sea in Egypt is the Red Sea, it is one of the hottest and saltiest oceans. The coast on Egypt are some of the biggest tourist attractions in Egypt.The Suez canal connects the Red Sea to the Mediterranean. Also it is relatively shallow on the Egyptian coast, at its deepest, it is only 210 feet deep.
