Hello Third Grade Parents and Students! I am so excited to be teaching your child this year!

This will be my 20th year of teaching and my 12th year at Saint Hilary. I have a California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and a Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree. I also have an Early Childhood Education Administration Certificate. I taught TK, Kindergarten, and Third Grade. I am also a Teacher Induction Mentor through Marin County of Education. Teaching is not just a profession, but truly is my passion and calling. 

We have two wonderful sons named Joshua (alum of St. Hilary 2016, graduate of UC Berkeley (Economics Degree and Data Science minor) last May, and is working as a Financial Analyst in the Embaracadero Center and Jonnie (also an alum of St. Hilary 2022) is a senior at Marin Catholic High School.  

I also coach Cheerleading, an elective at St. Hilary. I look forward to spreading school spirit with the cheerleaders!

"It takes a village to raise a child"

I am very excited to begin the 2025-2026 school year in 3rd grade!  It’s going to be a great year! This year I will also be taking on the role of the 3rd grade resource during Spanish time. I coach basketball as well as train kids during the summer for basketball or football. I’m originally from Aurora, Colorado. I moved out here in August of 2022 to join Saint Hilary and have really come to love the community here. I have a dog with whom I spent the majority of my time with when I’m not at school. I’m also apart of extended care and golf so I’ve met a few of the kids already! In Colorado, I also did some tutoring in reading and writing, and worked with kids pretty much up until I left to come out to California. I also did a little bit of football coaching as well. It is going to be a great year and I look forward to spending it with the third grade!
