Learning Goals:

• Students will determine the main idea and supporting details of a text read aloud. 

• Students will demonstrate an understanding of the Tier 3 word meandered and Tier 2 word dejected.

• Students will convert fragments into sentences and generate statements. They will also combine two simple sentences into one complete sentence.

Foundational Skills

• Students will review short vowels and sounds and multisyllable words.

Reading

• Students will ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as the basis for their answers.
