March 30 – April 2: Holy Week
Monday:
Students began the week by journaling about the many gifts in their lives for which they are grateful. In math, fourth graders used protractors to draw angles with given measurements. Students also presented their persuasive essays to their peers.
Tuesday:
Students created beautiful watercolor crosses inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe. Fourth grade accompanied their kindergarten buddies to an all-school Stations of the Cross led by the eighth grade. Students also completed comprehension questions for Boss of the Plains.
Wednesday:
Fourth grade continued their study of Holy Week, learning about the Last Supper and the first Eucharist, which we honor each Sunday at Mass. Students will enjoy an Easter egg hunt with their buddies—thank you to our Kindergarten and Fourth Grade Room Parents for organizing this joyful event!
Thursday:
Fourth graders will take their Holy Week spelling test. Students will also participate in a Seder Meal in their school families as we pause to remember Passover and God saving His people from slavery in Egypt.
