S.T.A.R.T.

Program

Students in 5th and 7th grade participate in the S.T.A.R.T. program (Substance tobacco alcohol resistance training) . It is a police officer-led series of classroom lessons. The goal of the program is to educate students on the dangers of drugs and other external influences and how they can negatively impact their lives. Office Sanginiti is with the students for nine weeks and covers topics such as tobacco, alcohol, marijuana, pills, powders and inhalants, bullying, digital citizenship, and peer pressure.
