7th Grade Homework and Assessments
Monday:
Lewis and Clark's Expedition- Today we will be looking at the Lewis and Clark Expedition. We will complete a variety of activities to examine this influential event in American history.
Tuesday:
Today we will do an outdoor inquiry activity involving Lewis and Clark's journals. Students will catalogue their own flora and fauna findings around the school
Homework for Wednesday: Finish Journal entries if need be at home to turn in tomorrow.
Wednesday:
Monroe Doctrine: Today we will look at the Monroe Doctrine and examine the purpose of this doctrine and what it meant for early U.S. foreign policy.
Thursday:
Introduction of the Hilarious History Project- Today we will go over a project we will be working on over the next week. Students will get the assignment sheets, directios, see examples, etc.
Coming up and what your should be working on at home: Work on the Hilarious History project! Due in class on 3/23/26!

There will be a test on WWI on 3/12/26 in class.
Tuesday:
Continue WWI: Wilson's Fourteen Points vs. The Treaty of Versailles. We will compare the actual treaty that eded WWI with Wilson's original Fourteen Points in class today and talk about the repercussions of the treaty for the next two decades of history.

Begin Post-WWI Prosperity (the 1920s)
We will begin a mini-project in class today. This project will be done at home!
