Our library is pleased to offer Accelerated Reader quizzes (AR Quiz) through Renaissance Learning. Upon completion of a book, the students may take an AR Quiz. This quiz measures their reading comprehension. This amount of questions range from 5 or 20, depending upon the book level.
The AR Quiz is taken during school. Students may take a quiz during their library time or, when the teacher allows, in their classroom.
Parents can sign-up for Home Connect. This enables parents to view the results of an AR Quiz. This is a very nice feature. It shows a bookshelf of all the AR Quizzes a student has taken.

STAR Reading tests are administered in the beginning of the school year and at the following trimesters. The STAR Reading is a computer-adaptive reading test. This test is one of the ways we help our students choose books that are both enjoyable and help them develop reading skills.
