The Christopher Awards were established in 1949 by Father James Keller to salute media that “affirm the highest values of the human spirit.”  Awards are given annually in many categories and age groups. Search current and past winners in the category of Books for Young People for wonderful suggestions for what to read next.

The Daughters of St. Paul have launched a new feature on their YouTube channel (you read that right!) called Storytime with the Sisters.  These "media apostles" read picture books about saints, miracles, and our Catholic faith.

Storytime From Space is a project of the Global Space Education Foundation.  They send children’s books to the International Space Station, where astronauts videotape themselves reading to the children of Earth.  They also record themselves doing experiments.  SO cool!
