Every child begins with an individualized plan based on their strengths, needs, and family priorities.
Speech-Language Evaluation
A comprehensive evaluation may include standardized assessment, informal assessment, caregiver interview, clinical observation, and review of relevant records. The specific areas evaluated depend on your child’s needs and may include speech production, intelligibility, receptive language, expressive language, fluency, social communication, or AAC needs.
Families receive a written report with results, clinical impressions, and recommendations.
Speech-Language Therapy
Individual therapy is provided in our Sahuarita clinic and personalized to each child’s goals. Shorter appointments may be recommended when clinically appropriate and are prorated accordingly.
Therapy may address speech sounds and intelligibility, receptive and expressive language, gestalt language development, AAC and multimodal communication, fluency, social communication, vocabulary, grammar, and narrative skills.
Reading and Language Arts Tutoring
Individual instruction uses explicit, systematic, evidence-based methods, including UFLI Foundations when appropriate.
Families who pay for the full month in advance receive a $5 discount per scheduled clinic session. In-home reading support may be available; the monthly prepayment discount does not apply to in-home appointments.
Reading support may address phonemic awareness, phonics and decoding, high-frequency words, fluency, comprehension, spelling, written language, and reading confidence.
