Standards of Behavior

Standards of Behavior in Spanish Class

In order to have the best learning and social environment in Spanish class we will:

Show respect to others by being kind in action and words.

We demonstrate cooperative behavior and help our classmates.

We demonstrate good manners and respect by:

• always raising our hand and not shouting out,
• saying please and thank you,
• making eye contact with the teacher,
• listening to instructions,
• not talking while the teacher is speaking or other classmates are speaking.

Show respect to property by:

• taking care of materials used in the classroom & Spanish cart
• caring for materials borrowed
• taking care of our projects & work that we prepare during Spanish class.

The fulfillment of these standards will earn your class points towards awards and celebrations. Individual students will also receive dojo points for following standards. At the end of each month the student with the most dojo points can choose from the prize box.
