Cornerstone Activities- Each grade band has identified a handful of "cornerstone" activities that will act as anchors for our Future Labs accross the district. These activities have been selected for their engagement, age appropriateness and connection to Future Lab dispositions as well as developmental skill levels. At each site, students will experience these common corner stone activities as well as other additional challenges and experiences.
The Cornerstones were developed by a team of Future Lab instructors and leaders during the 2022-2023 school year. Cornerstones include the learning experience, focus skills, focus dispositons, primary Future Lab process (tinkering, engineering, designing), as well as other resources, notes, and materials needed.
