First year, Trimester 3
FOCUS: Television Commercial
Module Name: Film Studio 1 (FLM212)
In this studio module, TVC Production, projects are reflective of real-world scenarios. They showcase compelling call to action through 45 second TVC projects created through a course of in-class activities and exercises that build into a main final project for exhibition, students work in project teams towards understanding the process of creating a TVC form the ground up. They have to write a a treatment, carrying out pre-production research, producing, and developing their pre-production, production and post production skills. Throughout the trimester, students hone their skills in cinematography, lighting, sound, location scouting, production design, and post-production, which culminate in the end-of-trimester showcase of their final project.
