Congrats you have made it to week 13 and have finished GAD170, Woo!
You now have a break before next trimester starts.
What you shouldn't do:
Nothing, most people go on break and don't continue to practice and as such when they come into trimester two; they don't remember how to code and have to relearn the basics again.
What you should do:
Continue to practice your skills, pick something to make, can be a game, or a mechanic from a game and just make it! Do as many tutorials as possible in order to improve your skills, I'll provide some below.
Come along and try Make A Thing, it's an event that's hosted here over each break, where you are given a task to make a thing given certain criteria, can be in groups or you can go solo up to you! - There will be an email sent out to you when it's on.
Email me, if you have questions or issues with code, or ideas on what you could be practicing...you might be on break but I'm still at work :'(.
Next trimester if you are running into issues come along to Strong Foundations again, all are welcome.
My Tutorials to follow and try out:
I've created another three weeks worth of content that is available under the weekly activities for week 14,15,16 to give you some more to practice over your break.
There is also a link here to a document containing a Google Doc that has all the tutorial video links I have made, so that you can access them next trimester so make a copy of this document, as next trimester I'll be resetting the site to show one week at a time for the new batch of 170 students.
