The Ensemble dance groups had a very successful day at State. The Large Ensemble was State Runner-up while both the Small Ensemble and Junior Ensemble won state! The whole dance group still has more postseason to come, but for now, some of these girls have reflected on the Ensemble season. Carly Kenefic (Junior Ensemble) says these girls were able to succeed because they challenged each other and learned how to "not only push [themselves] to be the best individually but to be unified and work together to achieve." She feels like this group has improved on movement skills as well as growing stronger relationships. She is now turning her full attention to the other dances for Regionals, State, and Nationals. Carolyn Kenefic (Small Ensemble) said the win felt amazing. After Prelims they were in the winning position, but as a group they decided they wanted to win by more than two points, pushing themselves all the way to the end. Small Ensemble ended up with a score of 90.82 which was the highest score of the day.
