PBIS Wishlist

Please consider donating or purchasing an item from the PBIS Wishlist. These items are used each month to help motivate students to make positive S.A.F. E choices at school. Haverhill uses PBIS rewards as part of a positive behavior support system.

Each student can receive PBIS points to use to shop at Hawk’s Nest (Haverhill’s store). Part of the store is a monthly raffle. The items that are in the raffle are always unique and different from anything they could purchase with their points in the store.

SACS - Arts Under The Lights

September 19 - Flex Day

Friday, September 19 is a districtwide Flex Day (staff only day – no students)

The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) has approved SACS’ four scheduled districtwide FLEX DAYS for the 2025-2026 school year (August 22, 2025, September 19, 2025, January 30, 2026, and March 6, 2026) as non-school days for ALL SACS students.

There will be no student attendance requirements or e-Learning utilizing CANVAS on these days. SACS will be closed for students, and staff will dedicate these days to full day Professional Development (PD). No additional days will be added to the 2025-2026 academic calendar.

Attendance Hotline

Is your student feeling sick, have a doctor's appointment, therapy, or missing school today for an appointment? Please call the following attendance hotline to report the reason for the absence. If you were at a doctor's appointment, please ask for a doctor's note to excuse the absence.

If we do not hear from a guardian about the student's absence by 9:30 AM, we will call emergency contacts, email who's on file in Powerschool, then we will make a visit to the home to ensure the student is safe.

Treats - Individually Wrapped

Any classroom treat must be individually packaged due to allergies. Please make sure that any treat or snack that you bring to the classroom is packaged with an ingrediant list.

Below are a examples and non-examples of individually packaged snacks. Non-consumables are a great idea for students when thinking about prizes or "treats" for the classroom.
