The Nile River is a river with a delta that empties out into the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the longest rivers in the world its flows over 4,000 miles north. The Nile's delta is located in lower egypt The Nile in upper egypt cuts through rocky mountains,
Farmers depended on water a lot back then they counted on the timed floods year round but if a flood or rain or they didn't have any water supply at all then they can't put food on the table. To much rain and droughts people and cattle would be swept away plus homes would be destroyed there really is no way to win.
There are 6 deserts in egypt the western desert, the eastern desert, the great sand sea, the sinai desert, the white desert and the black desert. They run for miles and miles of sand on the positive side it isolates them from enemies giving them enough time to set up their armies to fight.
The climate in egypt is very dry and it has little rain fall, however there is more winter in the west delta. Usually the temperatures range from a maximum of 99°F and a minimum of 57°F, egypt only has 2 seasons winter and summer. Since the climate was so dry the depended on rain and if it was a rough year for water some might have gone hungry.
