8th Grade Math

Math in 8th grade is primarily focused on middle school algebra.  Within that "title" of algebra, we will be doing so much: transformations, functions, volume, linear relationships, exponents, scientific notation, Pythagorean Theorem, and scatter plots! By the end of the year, you will be ready to take on Algebra 1 at TA.

8th Grade Algebra

We will be learning Algebra 1. Our topics include expressions, linear and nonlinear functions, exponents, roots, inequalities, and polynomials.  Successfully completing this will put you ready for Algebra 2 or Geometry at TA.
