SILOSILO is chartered by the New York State Legislature and contracted by NYSED, ACCES-VR, ILC Department to provide independent living services through-out the Long Island Region. We are dedicated to protecting the legal rights of students and individuals with disabilities. Information, referral, technical and individual support services are available to empower families that are struggling with the special education process and/or school problems. Through mediations, negotiations, and representation, specially trained attorneys and paraprofessionals ensure that individuals receive the maximum service to which they are entitled under the law.

Our Center provides special education programs for children who reside in Nassau, Suffolk, and New York City, with developmental and learning disabilities, including autism, along with programs and support services for families.
LISHLong Island Select Healthcare provides services to all of those who are in need of medical services, regardless of their ability to pay or if they need uninsured primary care services in Long Island, NY. The uninsured are charged for services on a board-approved program for sliding scale health services in Long Island, NY and Suffolk County, NY,

Regional Partnership Center (RPC): A multidisciplinary team that leads systems change efforts by offering training, resources, and direct support to families and education professionals across all levels.
Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Center: Provides training and support to families and professionals, with dedicated teams for Early Childhood (birth–grade 3) and School-Age (ages 5–21). FACE Centers help build meaningful partnerships between families and schools.
Together, these centers promote inclusive education and strengthen family-school-community collaboration across Long Island.
