Assignment:
After watching the video about Heather Brown, design your own Hawaiian landscape based on Heather’s style. She uses multiple tints and shades of a single color. She has thick black outlines and in each section it is a solid color. Use the drawing prompt and pictures of her artwork for you to design your own landscape. Be Creative, fill up the entire paper with your drawing and color the whole project in.

Hawaii cannot only be paradise, the island can also be a mentor. And Heather Brown who does not just use water as a subject for her paintings, she absorbs and lives in it. The 36-year-old artist from California whose artwork has been exhibited in galleries around the world, has called Hawai'i home for 10 years.
