Week of June 1, 2020

1.) WRITING

A time capsule is a container that is filled with things from your life, such as newspapers, photos, writing, etc., that is then hidden away in a closet or buried in your garden, for a time, and then opened by you in the future.

This is a great way to remember what has been happening in your lives during this time. This is something you will keep in a safe place and open in a few years! We will work on a few pages each week. Work on pages 10 and 11 this week.

Step 1: Page 10- What Occasions did I celebrate during our time at home? Fill in the chart. Was there a holiday you celebrated? Was it someone's birthday while you have been home? Write it in the chart!

Step 2: Page 11-Thank You to someone who helped you or your family. Write a note saying thank you to someone who helped you or your family while we have all been at home. Maybe a sibling helped you complete your schoolwork, or maybe a neighbor went to the store for your family. Write a note saying thank you. You can also draw a picture.

*Did you learn something new? Write and tell me about it! Here are some examples-I learned how to bake cookies. I learned how to add fractions.
