understand what energy is, how it can be measured, and how it can move through a system through transfer and transformation.
demonstrate an understanding of the inter-relatedness of work, efficiency, power, gravitational potential energy, kinetic energy, and thermal energy, and perform calculations to qualitatively assess how this energy moves throughout a system.
perform experiments to critically assess the "quality" of collected data vs. what is expected based on theoretical calculations, and explain the reason for any discrepancy.
