All of the major assignments will be submitted through this site. Due dates for labs and major assignments are generally 10:30pm one week after the conclusion of the lab collection / data review class. It is important that you create a account using the code provided on your Edsby Journal using your *@sac.on.ca email address.
Edsby will be the home of all of your course marks, lists of class topics, schedules and due dates, and basic course information. The use of Edsby messaging will be the prime method of communication between teacher and student. Be sure to visit the site daily for updates and the most recent information about assignments and class work.
OpenStax is an open-source, online electronic textbook created by Rice University. This comprehensive resource is intentionally interwoven throughout all the course notes provided to students through their shared OneNote book, allowing students to explore the class topics at a deeper level if they choose to do so. While we will predominantly use the AP Stream Physics resource, for some topics we will also leverage the Advanced Introductory University textbook.
Graphical Analysis and Logger Pro are interface programs that allows students to connect to Vernier GoDirect lab probes. We will be using this software frequently when collecting data for labs or class activities.
Students are encouraged to download both the hand-held device app (IOS or Android) and the PC platform. Both can be found at this attached link.
