I hope you remain the same,

the person I admired,

back in junior high.

I wish time could freeze,

but I know—

change is inevitable.

We’ll both grow,

our paths diverging,

we’ll still find each other

at the end of every day.

The years may shift us,

but in my heart,

I fell for,

the one I carry with me,
