Addition and Subtraction to 10 FLASHCARDS

After our recent math unit on addition and subtraction to 10, students should be familiar with these addition and subtraction facts and be able to answer them quickly using mental math.  Having these facts "internalized" will help them work on addition and subtraction problems with higher numbers.

If these are difficult for your child, they are using their fingers, or their Term 2 report card indicated they could benefit from practise, you can help them by using these flashcards at home!

Fry's First 100 Words

Fry's First 100 Words FLASHCARDS

These are high-frequency words - words which appear often in our grade-level books.  We have practised them weekly in the hopes of making them "sight words", or words that we recognize immediately on sight.

An assessment of your child's ability to read these 100 words was sent home before Spring Break and they will be assessed again next term.  You can help them by using these flashcards at home!
