This research was carried out under the supervision of our science teacher, Mr Mark Tay, without which the research could not be carried out. We would also like to thank the lab technicians as they provided us with the apparatus and allowed us to work in the lab outside school hours. Last but not least, we would also like to thank Mr U Aung Myo Hlaing, who helped us a lot with our research and provided us with some of the equipment, such as the soil and the handheld shear vane.
