today i learnt how to use KSP and the controls. and i learn how to build a rocket and fly it so it orbit. it was fun cause it was at different venue and we get to build rocket
i learn about how to get to moon and land by crashing into the moon. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a design that is able to land and go into moon orbit . it is very fun cause is mainly hands on activity and not listening to someone.

constellations are Group of stars that make up certain patterns in the sky.
NGC -- new general catalogue. Astronomical catalogue oof deep sky objects compiled by john emil dreyer in 1888
Used for stargazer and astronomers recognise specific stars in the night sky. Used to create and track the calendar so they knew when to plant crops and harvest them.Used for navigation and to help sailors travel across the ocean.
Can figure out latitude by using the height of the northern star. i like it that there are alot of video and is very engaging
today we had ksp lessons and designed a rover. it was very fun as it was very engaging and we can look at other people design. it was also very funny seeing people crash while controlling KSP.
today lesson was very engaging as there were a mix of videos and presentation and kahoot as an activity.i learnt about satelitles and learn that satelittles are actuallly anything that orbits a thing which is very interesting as i thought all satelittles are man made . i learn that satelittles can send and recieve signals from any planet which is an interesting fact as i thought the distance also matters. can improve by making it longer

today was very fun as we get to have ksp to try and it was very fun. we also did sfs while waiting to get the ksp and it was quite fun to build the rocket and launch it even though i did not manage to do it.
today i learn that enceladus is the sixth largest moon of saturn and has a 250 km radius and it is mostly covered by clean ice. there is also cryovolcanoes that erupts water and gases below freezing point. water jets form by tidal friction and the water will travel up through the cracks and deposit heat in the surface ice which causes the water to spray into space. i also learn about the sound on mars which is around 540mph compared to earth at 760 mph which is not very noticeable. it is because mars atmosphere is 100 times less dense than earth which will affect how sound waves travel. there is also another discovery about a planet similar to earth (Kepler - 452b) which is the closest to any planet found in the solar system which is 500 light years away and it has a rocky terrain and is 1 and a half times the diameter of earth. the first image of black hole captured was captured in mar/apr 2019 and was discovered using an international network of radio telescope called the event horizon as black holes are extremely dense which no light can escape. they also used gaia to survey over a billion stars in the galaxy to create a 3D map of the milky way. This is very huge as it is expected to be able to capture a precise 3D map of over a billion stars and will give us data on the milky way such as the structure luminosity and temperature. neutron stars weights within 10 to 25 solar mass and is formed when a star runs out of fuel and collapses which will cause the atoms to crush into the neutrons. they are also some of the smallest \and densest objects in the universe other than hypothetical objects and black holes, they will no longer radiate heat and will cool down after forming while having a surface temperature of almost 600 000 degree. magnetars have magnetic fields that are trillion times stronger than earth and emits bursts of radiation and burst are not consistent and are erratic. i hope they are less videos and make the quiz longer as the videos were quite boring and the quiz was quite fun
habitability
all known forms of lfe water and sufficient amount of certian air qualities are the bases for their expirence. like oxygen nitrogen, carbon dioxide
hability zone-- goldilocks zone, where planets can be sufficient temperature that is not too warm and cold
fermi paradoz-- apparently contradiction for the lack of evidence and high probability estimates for the existence of exteaterrestrail civilations
made by.a casual talk like enrico fermi, edward teller, herbert york
absense of any sign of intelligent life in space would mean that one steps is improbable to work. if one step fails they will start from scratch
drake eqaution
The great filter -- evolutionary path in which intelligent life would have to take before discovering us or other colonies of extra terrestraul origin
dark forest theory --> it is to be the hunter or be the hunted
communication radio waves
to find extra terrestrail life, radio signals are used. SETI are scientific searches using electromagnetic radiation for signs of transmission and have proposed quantum communications to communitcate with aliens
communications -- alien life were to be advanced enough, we woould find megastructures, acting as a sort of lighthouse
this lesson was very fun engaging with the kahoot and i feel that it is very good and it cannot be improved. the content is very good and i can apply it in future competition.
it was enjoyable as we did KSP the whole lesson and there was not much lectures.
Sr-- scientific theory that was [ib;osj om 1905" on the electrodynamics of moving bodies
spacetime tell matter how to move
today it so fun and it was very entertaining as there was live demo and whiteboard diagrams and quizzzzziz
i learnt about radio transmissions and events happening next year. it was very interesting as it will be about events happening in the future
