GNC, or Guidance, Navigation, and Control, is the system to controls the spacecraft. The system uses sensors and software to determine where the spacecraft is. It then uses software to calculate the orbits and needed delta V for the mission. Finally, the system relays this to the propulsion system, which then carries out the burns to keep the spacecraft on course. This section will focus on the calculate the computer does to determine the orbits.
Total delta V= 14.7 km/s
Without any gravity assists, the mission will take 6.1 years to get to Saturn. After the mission arrives at Enceladus, the mission duration then depends on the power, mechanisms, and other hardware on the orbiter and lander.
