WHAT'S NEXT?

Taking the AP Research course has given me significant insight into what the research process entails. I learned how to adapt to the ups and downs that come with research and adjust my project for these changes. All the skills that I developed through this course will definitely follow me to college as I do more research in the future. Colorado School of Mines offers multiple research programs and teaches research in class, and having these foundational skills will influence my outcomes there incredibly. I learned the importance of mentors, strong methodology, and ways to convey research properly to the audience which is going to help in my future research. I plan to do more STEM-related research in the future, hopefully, related to medicine and engineering. I am excited to fill more gaps in the world where no research lies and create novel research to answer these questions.
