The project focus is how does the influence of AI effect a player's immersive gameplay. The gap in other researchers are being focused on the technological view of videogames like the efficiency of production on videogames; or like the psychological effects of videogames for player's but no research bridged the gap between AI and player's videogames. That's where this research come's in by briefly analyzing Road 96 it'll provide a guideline for future research on AI and player's experiences.Â
The reason for Road 96 was due to it's unequal level of adaptability to players choices, and each choice having a butterfly effect that enables AI to proctor unforeseen gameplay. Originally the idea would be to examine two games Event 0 and Road 96 however, the reason why Event 0 wouldn't fit with the research is cause there'll be to many variables code for, and on top of that since Event 0 is such a niche game finding gameplay to make the research non-bias is very hard to come across. Since this research will have to have streamers for the same consistency finding streamers was difficult for this research leading the discard of Event 0. And another reason why this research isn't focus on a game with unlimited AI is due to the time constraints of analyzing all the data and more like efficient sampling size.
