Product: I have learned mainly how to problem solve and move about the research process with all of Its hurdles through my experience with both the presentation and paper. I had to adapt to both shifting time schedules, difficulties in finding my research processes, and the struggle of finding the right evidence and then statistically proving significance. No matter If I wind up working on research In the future, these skills can easily transfer Into every part of my life and I will certainly use these skills to help me In both academic and non-academic endeavors. I especially learned about how to adapt content beyond just one medium as flipping from presentation to paper helped me get a better feel for how to condense and compile information In both forms. 

Process: I learned a lot about my ability to manage time and take a continued interest in a project beyond just a few months as It was a whole year of working on one research question. I managed to make time for research between all of the chaos of senior year and my commitments outside of the classroom which helped me to better improve my organization. I thoroughly benefitted from this as it has already helped me to stay on top of my school work In high school and it will continue to do so in college. I have also been able to learn more about a sport that I have enjoyed over the past four years and the knowledge I have learned about my sport will stay with me every time I watch it. 

Acknowledgements + Future: I would like to thank Mrs. Dobos for helping me throughout this process and providing me with guidance as well as flexibility with deadlines as I was often missing when assignments were due and she worked with me to help me stay on track. I didn't have a mentor, so my peers were instrumental to my research process and I appreciated each one of their comments and suggestions as It helped me to refine my question, methods, and analysis. I plan on attending Wake Forest University In the fall of 2023 where I willl be majoring In International Relations & Political Science. I am unsure of where this adventure will lead, but I'm excited about the possibilities and  future I have ahead of me!
