Hi! My name is Danny Mattoo, and I am in the AP Capstone program at Rock Canyon High School for the 2024-2025 school year. I am originally from India but I lived in Dubai for 9 years before moving to Texas and then finally moving to Colorado.

I found my passion for science and medicine at the age of 8 through lab kits and playing doctor. I picked out my career in medicine at 12 and have worked towards it since then. My love for science was furthered through my clubs, like the Technological Student Association, my Biotech Class, and my love for volunteering.

Outside of school, I like writing poems, filming videos, and listening to music. My passion for poems comes from my passion for writing which also led to my love for conducting and publishing research. Filming videos has been a passion of mine since I was young and I use it as a way to show a more creative area of myself. Music is a way for me to relax and focus on my work one at a time. These things give me peace and help me pursue my future goals. 

In the future, I plan on going to college for biology in a pre-medicine program. As of right now, I am waiting on my college decisions, but plan on continuing to medical school in the future.
