Hello! My name is Bryce Greczek and I am a senior at Rock Canyon High School. I have a great appreciation for nature and the peace it brings, especially in the beautiful state of Colorado. I enjoy many different outdoor activities like hiking, camping, backpacking, rock climbing, and more. Being a very active person, I am also on the varsity swim and water polo team. Protecting the environment is something very important to me, so I believe that every individual can make an effort, no matter how small. Along with protecting the environment, one of my main passions is snowboarding, which was the motivation for my project. By conducting this research I am hoping to prove the connection between ski and snowboard wax usage and declining plant health in alpine environments. I am a scientifically focused researcher, so I find my satisfaction in statistics or data.Â
