About Me

My name is Evan Ruiz and I am a senior (Class of 2026) in the AP Capstone program at Rock Canyon High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

I was born and raised in Colorado. Outside of school I enjoy running cross country and track, working, playing the piano, making art and hanging out with friends and family. While academically, I have always had a passion in science and in pushing myself.

My future plans consist of going to college to major in Medical Humanities at Baylor University. I would like to minor in Spanish and join a study abroad program that focuses on medicine. After college, I hope to go to Medical School to eventually become a Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
