About Me

My name is Evan Ruiz and I am a senior (Class of 2026) in the AP Capstone program at Rock Canyon High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

I was born and raised in Colorado. Outside of school I enjoy running cross country and track, working, playing the piano, making art and hanging out with friends and family. While academically, I have always had a passion in science and in pushing myself.

My future plans consist of going to college to major in Medical Humanities or Biochemistry. My top schools currently are Baylor University and University of Washington but I have not yet committed. I will also minor in Spanish and join a study abroad program that focuses on medicine. After college, I hope to go to Medical School to eventually become a Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
