Hi, my name is Chloe Connell and I'm currently a senior at Rock Canyon High School. Throughout my secondary education I have pursued a vast aurray of topics and often struggled to find the one thing I was most passionate about; however, once I took a class on American History I discovered that history, international affairs, and law were my true passion. I have always been fascinated by tradjedy and the different ways that culture and polices respond. My research project this year, and all of my past projects have coincidentally mirrored this topic as well!
I have lived in Colorado for the majority of my lifetime. This being said, I have an affinity for all the amazing activites Colorado has to offer. I love skiing, hiking, running, and overall being outside and enjoying the mountains! When I'm not outside or in the classroom, I am spending time with my family and friends!
I align most closely with conceptual humanist field of research. This is not to say I dont enjoy exploring analytic data but instead I prefer to conduct research through the lens of historical context, systematic reveiw, and through cultural significane. I truly do beleive that the purpose of research is to better the world we live in and provide a solution to an unmet need in the world. Additionally, I beleive that giving a voice to voiceless or vunerable populations in society is extremly important.Â
