My research project aims to compare these different insulators by their thermal resistivity, which will reflect their performance in the use of winter outwear.
The closest study conducted to mine, excludes some of my proposed synthetic materials and was done in 1990 (Gibson, 1990)

PrimaLoft, Down, ThinSulate, and ClimaShield are all materials used in winter outwear to keep people warm in harsh conditions. Down is a natural product made from the feathers of geese, while the other 3 are synthetic.
