My name is Kacper Szymczak, and I am a senior in Rock Canyon High School's taking AP Research. I reached my topic because of my love for the outdoors, and my curiosity as to what insulation in the winter gear that I use works the best in extreme conditions. Whether it be on a early morning hike, multi-day backpacking trip, or a full ski day, protection for the cold is a necessity. I am hoping that my research will provide a better understanding of how synthetic insulators compare today.
